Tomorrow, one of our CrossFit 0930 regulars (and CrossFit trainers), Heather Adler, will be having a preventative bi-lateral mastectomy with direct to implant reconstruction at Inova Fairfax.  Heather recently learned she is positive for the BRCA1 breast cancer gene.  This result, in concert with several of her immediate family members having had breast cancer, makes Heather's risk astronomically high.  If you know Heather, she isn't patient by a long shot and is doing this immediately to eradicate her risk.  Please help us wish her a speedy recovery below - and promise to watch over Greg and their boys too, since they mean more to her than anything in this world. The fall semester for CrossFit Kids will begin September 17th and run until December 13th.
